A small group of very enthusiastic people, each with a distinctly different skill, but all committed to 'dark green' building practices. The core members are Sian Eddington, designer; Sean King, general contractor and Rafe Eddington, with his ecology expertise.

Sean is a native Californian, he has built many houses in the area over a number of years. The Eddingtons have spent their apprenticeships carefully restoring buildings in rural Tuscany, churches and other buildings in Devon, UK; also Georgian houses in London. They have lived in the LA area since 2000.

The group believes encouragement to others and advice when asked, is as important and rewarding as the design and construction that 'Eddington Design' undertakes. The existence of this website is with this service in mind; having experienced professionals in all the elements necessary in eco-friendly building, we have done the homework and want to share.

Our choices of materials and energy efficient appliances will appeal to those who appreciate quality and considered design.
